In pursuant and achieving the RENEWED HOPE AGENDA of Mr. President, it is pertinent that people with in-depth knowledge of an area being put to Man their field of competence.
The Niger Delta Region as we know is of great importance to the Country given the high/huge deposits of Mineral and Natural Resources which contribute heavily to the revenue of our dear Country.
Given this background information, it will be very necessary and vital that the Region enjoys developmental projects that will positively affect the lives and livelihood of the People.
In order to achieve this great feat, it will be proper that competent person with proven capacity, capability and experience pilot the affairs of the Region at the Federal Executive Council.
Yes, a Niger Delta Son will surely be named as the Minister of the Niger Delta Affairs, however it will be most appropriate and nice if an experienced person with high integrity from our Region becomes in charge as the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs.
In view of the above, we sincerely thank Mr. President in anticipation in appointing a competent hand as the Minister of Niger Delta Affairs that will help him drive and speed up the developmental process of our Region.
Let the search beam on who has served as the Interim Administrator/CEO of the Niger Delta Development Commission and delivered as that will go a long way as he will bring in his wealth of experience to bear as he is very conversant with the yearnings of our people in the Region.
Someone while he held sway at the NDDC, who started, continued and completed many "signature projects" that have direct and positive impacts on the people.
Someone that is truly a ROUND PEG in a ROUND HOLE.
Anyone that possesses these qualities is the person we need in the Niger Delta Region.
We will continually pledge our support to the Federal Government as we pray for a BETTER & DEVELOPED NIGER DELTA REGION.
