WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY; ICD URGES RIWAMA TO WAKE-UP!

With regard to the World Environment Day(5th of June, 2017) activities, the Initiative For Change & Development(ICD) is deeply worried about the manner in which refuse are being flaunted along major roads of Port-Harcourt, thereby making it look dirty at all times.
Refuse are visibly littered along IWOFE road,  RUMUOKORO roundabout, ABA road, ADA-GEORGE road, and almost all other major roads in Port-Harcourt city.

ICD frowns at the unorganized attitude of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency(RIWAMA), urges it to step-up it's duty of ensuring that the entire Rivers state is keep kept clean, in order to checkmake diseases and deaths in the state. Keeping the state clean would ensure the stay of foreign investors and even attract more, for onward development.
