My problem with President Muhamadu Buhari is that he does not want to be rich and wealthy. We have a President who does not want to combine politics with governance and good leadership. We have a President who does not want to compromise and take kickbacks. We have a President who does not want to buy properties and own private jets. We have a President who is ready to go back to Daura after his years in Power as President and Commander-in-Chief.
Also, we have a President who does not want his immediate family members to feast and sap the resources of Nigeria riding on his (PMB's) back. We have a President whose wife is loyal and committed to family issues with little assess to power and involvement in politics. We have a President whose wife does not go to Katsina and other States to nominate people for appointive and elective positions and take contracts from governors. We have a President whose wife does not travel abroad on a private jet.We have a President who does not want his immediate family members to become billionaires overnight.
We also have a President who does not want to connive with the National Assembly in budget padding and take his own share. We have a President who does not want to conspire with Oil Cabal and loot. We have a President who hates corruption with passion....Why won't they fight and manufacture series of unfounded and spiritless propaganda against him? This man as former Military Governor, Petroleum Minister, Petroleum Trust Fund Chairman and Head of State had every opportunity to be corrupt and rich yet does not have a house in Abuja, Lagos or outside Nigeria.
I do appreciate and understand the economic challenges and problems of the moment in Nigeria but if this is what we must pass through to free Nigeria and our unborn children from poverty and misery, what can be more glorious and sacrificing? We have not reached Canaan yet but we cannot go back to Egypt.
Its difficult to hold on in times like this but let's give President Buhari a little more time. But if you think PMB is not good and has performed baldy, Please give us an alternative to PMB. But from all indication, there is no alternative to PMB.
