BCR BUSINESS HUB: Anonymous donates millions of Bitcoin dollars 🚩🚩🚩

Bitcoin gave this world both revolutionary technology and several hundred people who suddenly became very rich. Those who minted cryptocurrencies on their computers or bought the first cryptocurrency for a few dollars (or maybe cents) could hardly have imagined that in a few years their digital savings would multiply several thousand times. The history knows enough examples of how suddenly a pile of money was becoming a great test for people, making such darlings of fate and their loved ones unhappy and embittered.

But it happens to be in other way.

On December 4, when Bitcoin cost about $11,315, someone registered the pineapplefund.org domain. And on December 13, there was created a branch on  Reddit, in which someone named PineappleFund told that he was going to donate 5,076 bitcoins (about $86 million) to charity.

"Pineapple" benefactor says that now he hardly believes in the Bitcoin rate reality. He has never strived to become a rich person, so he decided to sacrifice most of his digital savings, while remaining completely anonymous.

He claims he has been dealing with the cryptocurrency for several years, and now his Bitcoin Address joined the 250 richest.

At the moment the benefactor has financed six initiatives, in particular, he donated $1 million to Watsi, the innovative technology for creating charities to finance public health. He has given $1 million to The Water Project, the fund which supports the projects to combat the shortage of drinking water in Africa on a permanent basis. He donated $1 million to EFF, the project to protect the rights and privacy of Internet users, fight for network neutrality and much more. He gave $500,000 to BitGive Foundation, the project for Bitcoin and blocking technology introduction into the global philanthropy.

Anonymous notes he is not going to give "bitcoins for free", so people shouldn’t ask him for financial help.

Why "Pineapple Fund"?

I like pineapple. Pineapple has the only disadvantage - you can’t eat it too much.
