There is a saying that "when a lionic fellow performs creditably well, he should be celebrated, and that may cause him to do more and better".
The Minister for Transportation; RT. HON. CHIBUIKE ROTIMI AMAECHI gave the people of Rivers state what is called "a touch of very competent government", when he was governor. This cut across;
Education; Schooling was free. Rivers indigent and non-indegent people were taken overseas for Undergraduate, Masters & PhD studies on scholarship. He built over 300 highly equipped and sophisticated primary and secondary schools.
Employment;
CRA employed over 3,000 indegent and non-indegent Rivers people as teachers. Over 500 Rivers state government overseas trained medical doctors were employed in the state owned hospitals. Good number of Rivers people were employed into the state owned high institutions as academic and non-academic staffs.
Security; CRA chased the men of the underworld to their hiding places, desciplined them into quietism, which now birthed tranquility throughout his reign.
Agriculture;
Transportation;
Etc.
As the present Minister of Transportation of Nigeria, the lion of South-South; CRA is driving PRESIDENT MOHAMMED BUHARI's vision and promises, to fruition as manifested in the newly built & opened Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, the ongoing construction of the Ibadan-Lagos express road, ongoing Lagos-Calabar Rail way, the almost completed rebuilding of Port-Harcourt International Airport. Most interesting among the above mentioned, is the Port-Harcourt International Airport which was declared the worst and dirtiest airport on the world. The declaration was done by the international community, during the six years ineffective reign of DR. GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN as president.
With PMB as president and CRA as Transportation Minister today, the transportation sector is experiencing "gargantuan change", the Port-Harcourt International Airport has said goodbye to it's GEJ induced stance as worst and dirtiest in the world.
On the basis of the worthy legacies and continued great performance of the transportation minister; CRA and the 27th of May birthday event, the leaders, excos & members of the Initiative For Change & Development(ICD) proudly celebrate and felicitate with him @ 52.
CRA is a mover, shaker, pivot, strategist, thinker, & great leader.
It is our prayer that the high speed gear with which the transportation sector of our country Nigeria is driving, remain and even quadriples in oder that the enemies of change be proven wrong.
