Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) say they have arrested a 47 year-old man, Odili Onyekwere at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport Lagos over unlawful exportation of cocaine.
In an official statement yesterday, Head of Public Affairs of NDLEA, Ofoyeju Michell, said that the arrest was made during the outward screening of passengers on a Kenyan Airways flight to Ivato International Airport Antananarivo, Madagascar.
He added that the suspect excreted twenty-five wraps of cocaine weighing 270 grammes.
In his statement, the suspect, Odili Onyekwere, blamed his involvement in drug trafficking on economic hardship.
