OUR LEGISLATURE HAS GONE MAD AGAIN.
The 8th National Assembly are demonstrating their madness proving the fact that they are nothing but nuisance and our dearest president Muhammadu Buhari is watching. Mr president who pledged not to interfere in their affairs still maintain his stand which I believe he will soon reverse his statement by dealing with them accordingly.
The madness started with what they called leadership crisis whereby some greedy politicians forget the fact that they are there to protect and promote the interest of the people of their constituency by going against party's decision and as failed to bow for party supremacy. President Buhari and Tinubu is still watching.
The madness continue with the disappearance of the budget. The budget of the most populous black nation disappears under the watch of the embattled senate president who emerged through the back door Sen. Bukola Mesujamba Saraki and other 'distinguished' senators. After doctoring the budget they later brought it out and handed it over to Mr president for his attestation. Luckily enough for the good people of Nigeria we are blessed with a wise, open minded and hardworking president who took his time out of his tight schedules to go through the budget line by line leading to the discovery of some irregularities in the budget leading to the return of the budget to the house.
Not only that, the madness was also demonstrated during the screening of the ministers forwarded by Mr president Muhammadu Buhari.
In addition to the madness, some Honorable members of the House of Assembly went to The United State of America to demonstrate their madness by sexually assaulting someone's daughter. What an insult!
Similarly, a 'distinguished' senator angrily threaten to beat and impregnate a female senator. The senator further demonstrates his madness by walking on the streets of Lagos snapping selfie.
The current madness in circulation is the one between 'Dogara and 13 others vs Jibril' which bothered on padding of the budget where dogara and co planned to pocket 30 billion Naira in a country having more than 70% of her citizens living under poverty line. Jibril's assertion was corroborated on an interview by one house member who willingly confessed that "padding the budget is our usual business" what a madness!
However, Mr president is this the way the madness will keep on? Mr president won't you do something? I heard that the former president Olusegun Obasanjo advised you to spend money to put a stop to the madness which I strongly kicked against because there are other useful things Mr president can spend on and I believe the president has other ways to put a stop it.
While I keep mine for reasons best known to me, over to you fellow Nigerians what can Mr president do to put an end to these madness? God bless my father land.
