PRESS RELEASE:APC YOUTH LEAGUE RIVERS STATE COORDINATE WISHES TO THANK MR PRESIDENT FOR THE FLAG OFF CLEAN UP OF OGONI LAND.

In fulfilment of the electoral promise of President Muhammadu Buhari to the Ogoni people, and in line with his total commitment to sanitize the Niger Delta region and the environment from the age long degradation due to oil exploration and production, the APC Youth League Rivers State coordinate wishes to thank Mr President for the flag off clean up of Ogoni land as recommended by the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP) report to be launched on the 2nd June 2016, as indeed PMB has shown us that he is a man of integrity and his words can be taken to the bank.
We call on all good and enlightened people of Ogoni to brace up to this chance of reviving their environment by rallying around each other in peace and unity which has brought them thus far to achieve this goal as the struggles of their heroes past remains glorious.
Rivers youths are by this called to welcome Mr President in our hospitable and receptive manner for his concern for the restoration and development of the region.
