My good people of Rivers State. I must confess that the news of the ongoing security operations by federal forces, against criminal elements like cultist, armed robbers and kidnappers is long overdue and a good development.
However, i am not surprised that the unfortunate governor of the state and his collaborators are lamenting seriously. Though, it is common knowledge that Mr. Wike openly employed and recruited the services of these criminal elements in the periods preceding the 2015 general elections. He used them to maim, kill and intimidate his political opponents to forcefully clinch the PDP gubernatorial ticket and later used them to orchestrate the large scale violence that characterised the 2015 election.
In the event of his ill-gotten mandate, criminally grabbed at the expense of so many lives lost and properties destroyed, obviously against the will/wishes of the Rivers masses, he apparently lacks the will power to curtail the excesses of these criminal elements, whom he had used during the elections. He had no option but to empowered their ring leaders with Assembly slots, LGA CTC Chairmanship positions and juicy contracts. The result became this heightened insecurity and apprehension in the land today.
Mr. Wike's original plan was to eliminate most of these criminal elements after the elections, on the false believe that he was going to get away with the acts of election rigging, but had to change plans when the tribunal judgments didn't favour him. He then intensified his patronage and association with these known criminals in order to use them again against the people.
Hence, it is a good development that our security agencies are now up to the task against Mr. Wike and his gang of criminals. I wish them more success in this light.
Mr. Nyesom Wike is not worthy to govern Rivers State. Wike is an ally of cultists, armed robbers, militants and known unrepentant criminals.
All good people of Rivers State must join hands in prayers, to see that God deliver Rivers State and her people from the evil hands of Wike.
I left Rivers State after several attempts at my life simply because I am amongst many of the PDP elders that stood against what we perceived as greedy and unreasonable ambition of Wike. With the unfolding events, I am very confident that his days are numbered.
I commend Hon. Dakuku Peterside and his party(APC) for the doggedness and tenacity they've displayed in ensuring that the concocted results from the manipulated Rivers elections are upturned at the tribunals. I have a premonition that this young man called Dakuku is the person God has designated to deliver Rivers people from the stained hands of Wike and his evil clique.
God bless and save the soul of Rivers State.
