"On the allegation by the PDP that our candidate preaches violence; this is laughable and indeed childish. Even the bible says that the wicked runneth when no man pursueth him but the righteous is as bold as a lion. The characters making these allegations know how they came into power.
"Gov. Wike and Go Round(Felix Obuah), his friend came to power by turning this State into a theatre of war, and I am quoting the Supreme Court of Nigeria on this. Wike deceived Rivers people that he was fighting for Jonathan while in fact he was indeed pursuing his well known obsession for power using violence, subterfuge and barefaced treachery. Having enthroned himself, it is now clear that he lacks the humble attributes of a leader, hence his party is in disarray.
"On the other hand, the APC governorship candidate, Amaopusenibo, Dr. Dakuku Adol Peterside is a God-fearing, decent, well educated and humane leader who has value for human lives. Dakuku's lifestyle forbids violence. Dakuku respects elders. He will never buy guns for our youths to slaughter themselves.
"The PDP should therefore look inward and do a proper re-evaluation and if possible, apologize to Rivers people. No blackmail, no violence can stop an idea whose time has come. The time to rescue Rivers State from the shackles of mindless terror has come."
