WIKE'S DIRECTIONLESS DIRECTIONLESSNESS
Nyesom Wike, Governor of Rivers State, has promised to complete the Federal High Court Complex in Port Harcourt. But wait oh, who send am that work na?
The Rivers State Judiciary is experiencing infrastructural challenges. That has not merited Wike's intervention.
Just few days ago, Wike announced that he was terminating the scholarship of hundreds of Rivers Students abroad. He ordered for the deportation of our hapless brothers and sisters, irrespective of their years of study abroad. His ready alibi is that there is no money to continue their sponsorship, in spite of the fact that he has borrowed mind-blowing amounts of billions and earned further astronomical amounts of billions in federal allocations and IGR.
Now, where will he get the hundreds of millions to do the Federal High Court complex, Port Harcourt? Who send am that one?
Nyesom Wike is having a fruitless dream if he is already entertaining the grand delusion that by engaging in meaningless meddlesomeness with our money, he can cajole the Nigerian Judiciary into putting a judicial stamp of authority on his bloody March to power.
It won't work! The Nigerian Judiciary cannot be bamboozled by Wike's directionless rigmarole.
Wike is playing banja with our money. He has shown a propensity to waste billions in pursuit of his own self-aggrandizement and selfish pursuit. But he cares little about the future and wellbeing of Rivers state.
Wike is clearly intoxicated with Rivers petro Dollars, but it's high time people explained to him that not everything can be bought with money.
What Wike is looking for will not work. Let that be very clear!
