THE ANTICS OF DIVIDE AND RULE: The bloody and the ugly way
Rumuagholu is a community bordering Rumukpoku community in Obio/Akpor Local Government area of Rivers State.
These communities have sons and daughters who are predominantly loyalists of APC and Hon. Dakuku Adol Peterside a strong Gubernatorial contender.
No gainsaying to the fact that, the mass area of Land in dispute falls within the greater Port Harcourt City.
Governor Nyesom Ezebunwo Wike is gainfully aware of the history of the Land now causing wanton destruction of properties and blood shed.
This devilish antics of divide and rule in order to gain cheap sympathy is inimical to human and infrastructural development of these communities. Wike advertently gave out these parcel of Lands to his political associates just to achieve a vendetta point against these communities for supporting Hon. Dakuku Adol Peterside during pre-election campaign of 11th April 2015.
How long must Wike continue with his unsatisfying hunger for witch hunt against perceived APC communities. Our mothers are no more safe in the market and farm places, our children are in grave danger, businesses have crippled within these areas, lives of strangers are no more secured, mobility is ceased.
We beseech the Federal government and appropriate security agencies to investigate the root cause of this callousness to man in the name of political and economic power desperation exhibited by a supposedly Chief security officer of the state.
Our communities must not be wiped out via land dispute violence. Not again, no more blood bath because of chronic desperation for power.
