WIKE'S BOARD APPOINTEE; OTHER PDP CHIEFTAINS DUMP HIM: SAY HE IS INCONSISTENT AND FULL OF DECEIT.

BREAKING NEWS WIKE'S BOARD APPOINTEE; OTHER PDP CHIEFTAINS DUMP HIM: SAY HE IS INCONSISTENT AND FULL OF DECEIT Hon Asita Honourable, the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate was among those that visited Omuma in Omuma LGA of Rivers State to receive Hon Ndubisi Nwankwo from the PDP into APC. Chief Ndubuisi Nwankwo until his defection today to APC was a chieftain of the PDP in Rivers State, who was only last month appointed by Governor Wike into the Governing Council of Ignatius Ajuru University, Rivers State as a member. Engr Nwankwo, had been Commissioner for Energy and Natural Resources in the State. Engr Ndubuisi Nwankwo who led over Five Hundred and Eighty-Seven other PDP members into the APC, while addressing the APC Deputy Governorship Candidate alleged that Governor Wike is the most deceptive Riversman he has ever met in recent times. He added that Governor WIke pretends to have a vision for the State whereas he has none, except vendetta which cannot bring about the needed development to the State. He also accused the Governor of deliberate refusal to fund Government Agencies despite the huge sums of money borrowed from the banks. Hon. Asita while receiving Engr Nwankwo and all other PDP members that defected, commended and encouraged them for realizing that PDP is no longer a vehicle that can take Nigeria to the expected destination. APC faithfuls trooped out in their numbers to welcome Hon Asita even as he visited HRH. Eze Ojiegbe the Ogbu 1 of Omuma in his Palace. In a similar development, Chief Mattew Aleru, Onumbam 1 of Isiokpo Kingdom and former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Basin Authorities, and Mr. Igochukwu Dimm, a PDP chieftain and former Aspirant of the PDP to the Ikwerre/Emohua Federal Constituency have also led their teeming supporters from Ikwerre Local Government Area into the APC. Both men speaking at different occasions accused Governor Wike of inconsistency, claiming that Wike within the short period as Governor has demonstrated mastery in the art of "use and dump". They said such character is not only ungentlemanly, but also disrespectful to men of their status in the state. "A situation where Wike would visit and call me regularly because he wants to become Governor and after he became Governor he would not even take my call or respond to a simple SMS is disrespectful to my person. Now he has began again with his calls. I won't take such calls. At my age I shouldn't be fooled twice." Across the Rivers State, the people are beginning to come to terms with the fact that Nyesom Wike is not the kind of Governor they desire for the State, especially to succeed former Governor Amaechi who was a high performer. This is already depleting his camp. Ngozi Anucha, and Okpaka Sabastine Tyde Newspapers Publisher.
