PDP is now crying wolf.

PRESS RELEASE

The Sylva  Campaign Organisation  has described the reasons given by
David  Serena-Dokubo Spiff,  the Acting Chairman of the People
Democratic Party  ( PDP), calling for the  postponement  of rescheduled governorship election in Southern Ijaw Local Government area of Bayelsa State as baseless and without any substance.

It is a known fact that PDP had perpetrated all the violence in the
Saturday governorship election in areas considered to be a stronghold
of the All Progressive Congress ( APC) to scare its teeming supporters from casting their votes in the election.

Having not succeeded in their violent acts and  intimidation of  the
electorate due to the increased presence of security at the
rescheduled election in SILGA, the PDP is now crying wolf.

The Sylva/Igiri Campaign Organisation is confident that with the
pronouncement made by Deputy Inspector General ( DIG) in charge of
security in the state for the purpose of the election that there was
adequate security to protect men and materials as well as the
readiness of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to go ahead with the election which has already gone half way there is no
need for this call.

It is extreme falsehood and total breach of electoral laws for the
Chairman of PDP to claim that their party is leading in Seven local
government areas in the state when, INEC has not officially announced
any result in the governorship election.

APC is however, buoyed as we believe that when the final results are
released, we will roundly trounce the PDP inspite of their propaganda.
