DICKSON, ‘THE AGGRESSOR’ WANTS TO PULL DOWN MILITARY, OTHER INSTITUTIONS

It is unfortunate that in his desperation to remain in office, Governor Seriake Dickson, is willing to pull everybody and every institution down with him, such that even highly respected institutions like the military had become fair game to him.

We have watched in horror how Governor Dickson, has continuously denigrated the military by calling them all sorts of names and whipped up public sentiments against them by calling them an “ army of occupation who must leave Ijaw land”.

We in the Sylva-Igiri Campaign Organisation, had hoped that Governor Dickson would restrain himself  and not allow things escalate to the point where the military too would be forced to respond to his barrage of allegations over the conduct of the inconclusive Governorship election.

Unfortunately, that is what has happened now and the whole world now know just as we have always maintained that Governor Dickson is the aggressor while our leader, Chief Timipre Sylva of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the peace lover.

We in the APC thank the military for speaking up and clarifying the situation which has clearly vindicated our position.

We, however, want to assure all Bayelsans that unlike Governor Dickson and his party, PDP, we will continue to remain peaceful, law-abiding even as we pursue the actualization of our mandate with the announcement of the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area results.
