BAYELSA FIRST
I am APC and I know that my party is winning. But that notwithstanding,
whoever wins the election today, PDP or APC, what is important is that both candidates are Bayelsan indigenes. If you kill or destroy anything because of whoever wins this election you are a fool. Neither APC nor PDP is Bayelsan party, they are both vehicles boarded by different brothers heading to the same destination.
The ultimate purpose of an election is to choose one amongst brothers and sisters to lead the rest. All those who are killing and maiming the people are just foolish. It is not a contest of which party is superior in the state, it is about who amongst the two brothers should lead.
Whether you call yourself a militant or a party faithful, you will be a fool to tamper with any life or property of any Bayelsan because of election. You will soil your hand with blood of innocent people and it will live with your conscience till eternity when you will be in hell.
You will not be the first generation of people to engage in political contest and you will not be the last. There were people before you and today they are no more. Those of them that led a bloody life in their old age are now regretting it because they have money but can never have peace, even in the grave beyond. It won't be long you too will be old, all that you are acquiring from politics now will be obsolete and you will be left with your conscience.
Be warned, it is only an election, don't destroy your future because of it.
