The Inter-Ethnic Network for Chibuike Rotima Amaechi (INCRA) commends the Federal Government of Nigeria over the successful commissioning of the Naval War College and Nigerian Navy Intelligence School which is sited in Ubima Town of Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
The successful kick-off of this strategic military apparatus at a time when investors are keeping their safe distance from Rivers state and residents are relocating in droves as a result of the deplorable security situation is not only timely but a clear indication that the Buhari administration places the security of Rivers people and the entire country on high premium.
We join the Chief of Defense staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin in applauding the former Governor of Rivers State and the current Minister of Transportation, Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi for his commitment to ensuring that this institution sees the light of day on Rivers soil.
INCRA believes that the location of this national asset in Ubima will not only catalyse an economic boom for the community and its environs but will most importantly put to check the reign of terror which has long been unleashed on rural dwellers and travellers by cultists, kidnappers, armed robbers and other criminal gangs operating within that axis of the state.
We call on all Rivers people to continue in their support and prayers for the President Muhammadu Buhari led Federal Government as it continues to make remarkable strides towards economic recovery and national security.
