COMPARATIVE CORRUPTION, WHO DESERVES THE HIGHEST PRISON SENTENCE?: WRITTEN BY ROWLAND ORLU

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC few days ago successfully secured the conviction of one Mrs Chika Amsy Charles. Who was convicted by his Lordship Justice D.V Agishir of the Federal High Court, Enugu and subsequently sentenced her to a whooping 90 years imprisonment on a 30 count charge of 3 years per charge.

Mrs Chika's crime according to the learned Justice D.V Agishir was swindling three students to the tune of five million, six hundred and twenty thousand naira. Under the guise of assisting them secure admission into the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, ESUTH.

Comparatively, if Mrs Chika Amsy Charles could be punished heavily without a second thought by his Lordship, how many years each should be given to those corrupt Justices who took bribe running into several millions of Naira, Pounds and Dollars found in their official residences by the DSS?.
It is now a matter of severity in corruption.
