My people, good morning... I'd been out of here for two days, only to return to see the PDP still talking rubbish as usual... They want our dear hard-working president to resign. They want a man who has bailed out the 27 states they left unable to pay salary to resign. They want a man who has in just one year made our non-oil sector contribute to our national revenue more than the oil sector to resign. They want a man who has made diversification of the economy not just a word but is taking practical steps to make it real through a revolution in the Agricultural and mineral resources sectors to resign. They want a man who has brought sanity to our military and given them the confidence to win wars that the PDP could not win for 16 years to resign. They want a man who has made the EFCC not just an acronym but an active anti-corruption agency recovering more money in one year than it did under the PDP for 16 years to resign. They want a president who has fast-tracked environmental remediation not only of Ogoniland but of other parts of the country to resign. They want a man who has restored the pride of Nigeria in the comity of nations and signed more bilateral agreements with nations than the PDP did in 16 years to resign. They want a man who has reduced the size of ministries, ministers, and advisers to save cost of governance to resign. They want a government that has started giving potable water supply to Bayelsa people to resign. They want a government that is doing many more things than I could list here to resign.
The PDP want to take us back to the era where their biggest achievement was to loot our treasury and use the money to invest in foreign countries while even members of their own families suffered in penury and hardship. The PDP want to take us back to an era where their biggest creation was militancy and cultism, Boko Haram, unpaid salary, lack of infrastructure, no investment leading to economic recession. They want to take us back to the era when every Nigerian abroad was looked upon as a yahoo-yahoo boy and 419ner. To what exactly can the PDP point and say, "this is what we want you to become"?
This party called the PDP is truly a shameless party indeed, how they're still able to open their goat-eating mouth to talk after all the misery they bequeathed this nation is beyond me.
President Buhari will be in power till 2023, if the PDP truly wants to help this country, they should go and tell their first lady to bring our $31M so that our business men and women can have dollars to import food. They can't hide our dollars in many hidden accounts, some buried underground, and expect the value of naira not to fall. If all of them could bring back our looted dollars now, then hardship would disappear from the country. But if they cannot bring it, then they should just shut up and allow our hardworking president to do his thing.
