‎THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD ARREST KILLERS OF KEN ATSUWETE - APC YOUTH LEAGUE The All Progressive Congress Youth League (APCYL) Rivers Coordinate, have accused the members of the Peoples Democratic Party of been unconcerned about the murder of Ken Atsuwete (Esq) , simply because he is a member of the APC , press statement released by the state Exco reads : PRESS RELEASE‎ The All Progressive Congress Youth League (APCYL) Rivers Coordinate regrets in totality the brutal murder of a senior legal practitioner,a human right advocate and social critic ; Barr Ken Atsuwete " The voice of the voiceless ". ‎ For the past one year, our party the APC has lost more than a hundred persons , and the government of the day both at the federal and state, seem not to be doing anything whatsoever because the state government knows they are not members of the PDP. Rather than arrest the culprits of these killings, the governor claims they're cult related killings as responsible families have lost their husbands, wives and children even as the security of the state has worsen, instead of apprehending these known criminals and political  thugs the government has granted them amnesty without submission of any arm used to perpetrate these acts. It brings to mind a desperado sentence that is credited to the governor " write your will". ‎ The late Barr Ken Atsuwete, was a man of courage , the people's voice, who stood firm against tyranny and oppression to the oppressed by the members of the PDP or any oppressor, he was also a top  human right practitioner, as he continued in his passion for fairness, equity and justice until he was caught in his prime ‎by the political desperado's of the PDP.‎ We wish to inform the assailants and messengers of death (PDP) to note that you can kill the messenger not the message, as the voice of truth and development through the APC will continue to echo until justice is served to rivers people and Nigerians at large‎.  We hereby call on civil societies, The Nigeria Police force , DSS,and other security agencies to stand up for justice and arrest the perpetrators of this heinous crime and prosecute them accordingly .‎ Comr Abiye S.
