RHYTHM 93.7 FM STOP INCITING THE PUBLIC WITH LIES AND FALSEHOOD:

The Sir Hon. Collyns Owhonda team and the entire people of the Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2, condemns as shameless, irresponsible and abuse of professional ethics. The result announcement by rhythm 93.7 FM and anchored by Mr. Segun Owolabi, a self confessed PDP member, claiming victory for defeated Hon Mrs. Blessing Charles Nsiegbe after the rerun election of 19th March, without proper clearance from INEC the only statutory body who has the right to announce election results and subsequent declaration of a winner.

 In a devilish ploy by the PDP and Rhythm 93.7 FM to truncate Sir Hon. Collyns Owhonda's victorious mandate, given to him by the good electorates of the Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2. Investigation have shown again and again that, Rhythm 93.7 FM has constituted it's media house to perpetrate falsehood and lies spearheaded by Mr. Segun Owolabi and his team.

Mr. Segun Owolabi and Rhythm 93.7 FM should realise that, there is a prosecutional process already underway for those promoting destructive remours and acts of criminality.

We call on the good people of the Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2 and indeed Rivers State to disregard the purported results announcement made by Rhythm 93.7 FM and other media houses who have chosen to patronise criminality.

We further, wish to notify the general public that, a personal paid announcement sponsored by Hon Blessing Nsiegbe, does not have any significance on the will of the people and their zeal for total developmental change. It is also imperative to state that, Sir Collyns has refuted the earlier fake result announced by "Radio PDP". We described it, as a monumental media scam of the highest indecency. We urge APC supporters in the Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2, to remain calm and to be vigilant and to stoutly resist any attempt by Governor Wike, Mrs Blessing Nsiegbe and their PDP goons to change the results of PHALGA Ward 10.

We therefore, call on the National Chairman of INEC to prevail on the Rivers State Electoral Commissioner to declare without further delay, the Ward 10 results which are clearly in favour of Sir Hon Collyns Owhonda of the APC.

The circle of justice may seem to turn at a snail pace, but certainly, it will turn full circle.
