A MATTER OF PUBLIC NOTICE: No more back ride

Notice is hereby given that, the politics and representation of Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2, largely rests on the people, on their belief and on their disposition. Not court verdict.
The reason why, it is absolutely impossible for any formal legislator to super impose her idea or direction on the people in the name of Governor Wike is PDP therefore, she holds the trump card to easily manipulate the Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2 seat as against the wish of the people and also against the backdrop of absolute poor representation and performance in the past four legislative years.

So, moving forward into the election of 6th February 2016, the people of this constituency are fully assured that the outcome will be determined by the people. Because they know where they are coming from, they know where they are going. The era of being swayed by cheap gifts and unrealistic loan scheme has gone with the whirlwind of time.

Any politician who fails to appreciate the fact that one's personal life and political antecedents can at a large extent determine her future political carrier, has herself to contend with. And believing that, Governor Wike's victory in court will advertently or inadvertently throw the people's sympathy her way, is certainly not playing politics within Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2. Here power belongs to the people and not court verdict.

In every situation, people of the Constituency are focused, they know who and what they want, they equally know who and what they don't want and most importantly, they know how to reject who and what they don't want.

Suffice to say that, the electorate would expect to behold an amiable and proactive representative that would respect them, a representative that would operate an open-door policy and more imperatively, a representative that would open up the economy of the Constituency, increase the purchasing power of the people and create wealth, using genuine workable parameters of empowerment.

In the past four years of Hon Mrs Blessing Nsiegbe, we have lost a lot in human capacity development. Bills were not written, sponsored nor presented before the house. It is not a matter of being a first timer, it is a matter of understanding governance. There were first timers who made positive legislative waves, because they were grounded in politics, political matters and grassroot governance.

NO MORE BACK RIDE; The Constituency wants a proactive, productive and vibrant first timer who is knowledgeable in matters of public interest. Let us be cautious of posterity's fate and VOTE Sir Hon Collyns Owhonda on the 6th of February 2016.
