BREAKING: Supreme Court Sacks Stella Oduah, Andy Uba From Senate Names Replacements.
The supreme court has sacked Andy Uba and Stella Oduah from the upper chamber of the national assembly.
Both lawmakers from Anambra state are of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
While Uba represented Anambra south senatorial district, the other affected lawmaker represented Anambra north senatorial district.
With the development, all the three PDP senators elected to represent the state in the 8th assembly, have lost their seats, as the appeal court annulled the election of Uche Ekwunife of Anambra central, in October.
Ekwunife has since defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), where she is struggling to pick a ticket to return to the senate.
Uba, a two-time lawmaker, was former special adviser on domestic affairs to ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo, while Oduah was the former minister of aviation, who was embroiled in the controversy over the purchase of two bullet-proof BMW cars.
